The cottage is in an idyllic location and so peaceful! %% We have much enjoyed the birds in the garden including the nesting sparrows next to the front door and the Jackdaws in the end wall! %% The walking from Harelaw and in nearby valleys is beautiful and very unspoilt. Kelso is a pretty town and we would definitely recommend a late afternoon visit to Yetholm Loch to view the otters! %% We have had a lovely stay. %% We’ve had a wonderful week with so much to see and do- or not to do depending on the desire at the time! Good accommodation in a lovely area. (The jackdaws are learning to wipe their feet!) %% We especially enjoyed the local walks including, Flodden, the visit to Craster, the Berwick Town trail and Smailholm Tower. %% A comfortable and relaxing week in this wonderful spot. %% A lovely experience of peace in the beautiful Bowmont valley. The cottage gave us all the comforts…an excellent venue for the surrounding attractions. %% 1 complaint, we are leaving. Thanks Val and Andy for your concern and generosity.
